J. Gumbo's Get's It Done

Wow! I just finished up dinner at the new J.Gumbo's Downtown and I was very impressed. My wife and I started with the Crawfish Dip which was crawfish tails in a cheesy roux over tortilla chips. It was very tasty. We ordered 2 different Indiana beers from their extensive list of 40 taps and were happy to see local favorite Brugge represented with 3 tap lines. My wife had the Crawfish Etoufee which was very authentic. It wasn't as cheesy as Yat's version which is fine but very tasty. I had the Vooodoo Chicken which the server said was their spiciest dish and it was as advertised. The tender chicken was in a very spicy roux with tomatoes. Killer! Washed it down with a Brugge Black. I'll be back.
